1. They are early risers. 5am is the common rising time of successful people. They don’t press snooze, they get up and get started with their day.
  2. They are able to do the same thing day in, day out without giving up. Many CEO’s have 500 emails every day to sort through and reply to. As daunting as that may seem to some, they are able to make their way through them daily.
  3. Unclutter your life. Simplify everything. Unclutter your home, office, mind. Having everything simplified with only the necessities present, makes it easier to stay focused on your goals and not become overwhelmed by chaos.
  4. Have a positive attitude and outlook. Failing once, doesn’t determine you to be a failure. If you keep trying, success is imminent.
  5. Stop procrastinating. Some people are better at procrastinating than others. The fact of the matter is that you keep putting it off, or prioritizing other things before what is truly important, you won’t succeed.
  6. Be time efficient. This doesn’t mean doing more, it means being smart with your work and getting the same effect from doing less. Work smarter, not harder.
  7. Do daily work in batches. Why pay bills daily, when you can do them all in a few minutes once per week, fortnight, or month? Why do laundry every day when you could do several loads once or twice per week?
  8. Exercise regularly. Check out Forbes, and have a look at the daily routine of CEO’s. They all work insane hours and yet all work out. Most highly successful people work out in the morning before work.
